Habitat: Open bald dominated by Physocarpus malvaceus and Festuca sp. Substrate metamorphic. Plants common along roadside.
Associated Species: Holodiscus discolor, Dactylis glomerata, and Symphoricarpos albus. Bordered by forest of Pseudotsuga menziesii and Picea engelmannii; Pinus ponderosa and Abies bifolia.
